Sitan Tai Chi of Syosset Wins First Place at International Tournament
The 4th International Health Qigong Tournament and Exchange was held in Vancouver, Canada during Sept. 16-20.
More than 300 participants from 25 countries and regions attended the tournament and training seminars, and showcased the health benefits of this increasingly popular activity that promotes cultural exchange, friendship and world peace.
The team of Sitan Tai Chi and Martial Arts, located 231-05 Robbins Lane, Syosset, is led by Master Sitan of Tai Chi and Master Lynn Xu of Martial Arts. The team was the only delegation from New York in this event, and the entire team delivered an astonishing performance and won two 1st place awards in the group competitions, four 2nd place awards, and two 3rd place awards for the individual competitions while competing with 43 other Health Qigong groups from around the world.
The team also received a special award for its extraordinary contribution in team building.
