Newsweek based each school’s score on six components - graduation rate (25%), college matriculation rate (25%), AP tests taken per graduate (25%), average SAT/ACT scores (10%), average AP/IB/AICE scores (10%), and AP courses offered (5%).

Syosset has a 100 percent graduation rate and student college-bound rate, according to the list. The average SAT score for students is listed as 1700, while the average AP/IB test score is 4.1. The average students to teacher ratio was not provided.
