VIDEO: Equinox Cycles for Island Harvest
Members of Equinox in Woodbury participate in a four hour cycle-a-thon to raise money for Island Harvest.
Last year, Island Harvest did not have enough turkeys because of the high demand of food and when member Constance Korol heard this, she wanted to make a difference. Fitness guru and cycling instructor Tripp Doherty lead . Members could purchase the use of a bike by the hour and that money as well as any other monies donated went to Island Harvest.
By the end of the first hour, Equinox had raised close to $20,000 and they will continue accepting donations until December.
