A rundown of events and reminders for Thursday in Syosset and Woodbury.

1. Thursday will be mostly sunny with temperatures peaking at 58 degrees.

2. The Syosset Chamber of Commerce meets at 8 a.m. at Rachel's Cafe. Details on this month's meeting here.

3. STA Rep Council meets at 3:45 p.m. at Thompson Middle School, followed by STA/PTA liaison meeting at 5 p.m.

4. School reminders:

  • Our Lady of Mercy Academy's Student Council holds a campaign party Thursday during school. 
  • Students in grades 3-8 finish ELA assessments Thursday. 
5. Events at Syosset Library:
  • 9:45 a.m. Toddler Playtime
  • 2 p.m. Back to the Irascibles
