Syosset resident Edward J. Kata passed away on January 14. Kata was the Beloved husband of Lorraine (nee Verunac). The Loving father of Scott (Jyll), Glenn (Michele), Gregg (Jeanine), Todd and Bradd (Lori). Dearest son of Rita and the late Edward. He was the cherished grandfather of Emily, Holden, Victoria, Olivia, Nolan, Brian, Grace, Gavin, Brooke and Samantha, and was also survived by five sisters.
The Funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 18 at St. Edward Confessor the Confessor Church in Syosset.
