Hey, for the record, the Syosset Holiday Lighting Spectacular committee has gone out of its way year-after-year to avoid presenting this event as a "tree lighting" or a "Christmas" anything. Anyway, yes, the event was special, as always. We very nearly cancelled during the early afternoon hours, as a significant snowfall appeared imminent by afternoon. Something prompted us to go ahead, though, despite fears that the audience might be light this year. In the end, we had a great turnout and all the shivering, shaking young performers gave their all. Once again, I think we gave Syosset another fantastic memory. Thanks to all who bundled up and came out. Happy Holidays!
