Get Out: Syosset Weekend Planner, Feb. 25-27

Events around the area for the family this weekend.

Welcome to the last weekend in February. March is just around the corner which means that spring is not far away, and we’ve come up with ideas to help celebrate.

There’s the blooming of the camellias - a sure sign of spring - over in Oyster Bay. There’s speed dating for the over 40 crowd. Or, you can go see the second half of the best picture showcase, featuring the remainder of the nominated movies up for Oscars this weekend, including the film Black Swan.

There’s also a piano concert at the library, or head over to Huntington where  Jennifer “JWoww” Farley will have a book signing.
