Community Corner

Get Out Weekend Planner, March 4-6

Here are just a few events for the weekend.

The weekend is almost upon us and there are lots to do to keep busy.

If you want to see a play but don’t want to go to New York and spend a lot of money, Long Island has a lot of talented people that perform in the community theaters. You can see Fiorello! or 6 The New Musical in two of these theaters.

For things to do outdoors, there’s the Polar Bear Plunge (you can just go to support if you don't want to plunge) or see an early St. Patrick’s Day parade. Back indoors is the annual Band Festival, where once again, you get to see a lot of talented Long Islanders.
