Jan. 21: Getting Ready For The Weekend

Hello, and welcome to today's installment of "5 Things You Need to Know Today." 

T.G.I.F.! It's been a long week but we're so very close to the weekend. Not only that, we are just two days away from one of the biggest Jets games in history - can they beat the Steelers and make it to the Super Bowl?

Without further ado, here are just 5 Things to keep in mind today (and this weekend):

1. Get ready for Sunday's game - Check out our that gives you all the food and drink deals going on around town for the game. If you're looking to order food for home, there are some great options in there as well. 
2. See a play - The " -The opening night is Friday. If you miss that there are Saturday performances are at 8 p.m., Sundays at 7 p.m., Jan. 30 at 3 pm and 7 p.m.
3. Support the Braves - The heads to Uniondale for a 4:30 p.m. game, while the hosts the Knights at 6:15 p.m. 
4. Honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. - head to the African American Museum in Hempstead to , which runs until Jan.29. The exhibit includes photos of Dr. King taken by Moneta Sleet, Jr., who was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in 1969.
