Hello there, and welcome to "5 Things You Need to Know Today", the Tuesday edition.

  1. - The National Network for Accountants Preferred Provider Network will host its 2011 Kickoff Breakfast at 8 a.m. with Greenburg as the guest speaker. The presentation will focus on leadership and execution. The event is free and open to the public but pre-registration was required by Jan. 21.   2. - The Melville based group Action Long Island hosts "fireside chat" with Nassau Coutny Executive Edward Mangano and Suffolk counterpart, Steve Levy at the Crest Hollow Country Club.  Tickets are $40 for members and $50 for non-members.
