5 Things You Need to Know for Wednesday.

Happy Wednesday to you, and welcome to "5 Things You Need to Know Today."

  1. The  hits the mats against Sewanhaka East,  5:30 p.m. at Carey High School in Franklin Square. Syosset Patch will be there to cover the team!
  2.  heads to LI Lutheran for a 7 p.m. league matchup. The girls defeated Kellenberg Tuesday night 50-27 and have played exceptional so far this season, so get out and show them some support!
  3. The  hosts . This program "will assist you in beginning your family history search as well as provide resources for the more experienced amateur genealogist." Sounds pretty interesting! The program starts at 7 p.m. and is free and open to all. 
  4. The library also has a program for kids called  from 4 - 5 p.m. The program, for grades 3-5, lets kids learn about the fine art of lego while having fun. Please call the library at 516-921-7161 to check for availability or for more info. on all programs. 
  5. So, getting in shape is your and you haven't started it yet - what are you waiting for? in Syosset offers a ton of fun ways to get back in shape in 2011 - a few options offered include martial arts, kick boxing, basketball leagues, group exercise and much more.
