Syosset Library announced they will close their doors early again for the second time this week.
Excessive heat in the building prompted the decision, according to the library website. The library will close at 1 p.m.
The library also reminded residents that the facility and parking lot would be closed all day Thursday as crews replace the long awaited air conditioning system. The book drop will be locked Thursday and no fines will accumulate.
