If the MC for this event is reading this or anyone else is considering attending, I would like to thank for you the phenomia I earned for making the entire crowd sit in 28 degree weather two years ago, for close to two hours, while you just kept talking and talking, introducing someone, thanking someone, talking about your grandmother, having a performance, then talking and let me add talking. While you said it was cold and wanted to speed things up, those were just words, it was insulting. It was truly insensitive, stupid and selfish. My daughter performed that day at that was the reason I was there. My family is not stupid enough to ever attend another one of these events due to your stupidity. Since you need to be reminded, the town of Syosset is not Rockefeller Center. Let me see someone in charge of this event respond that this will not happen again, and I'll attending my own town's celebration. Happy Holidays.
