In our weekly countdown we are shining a spotlight on The Town of Oyster Bay Golf Course. And we are not fooling around, it's officially opening this week on April 1.
Since 1989, this well-maintained 121-acre championship course located on the corner of Southwoods Road and Jericho Turnpike has been a destination for serious golfers.
Enter on Southwoods Road and proceed down the tree-lined driveway towards the mansion, before you reach the estate turn right into the designated parking lot for check-in at the specified outbuilding.

Besides having a yardage of 6,376 for blue tees and 5,831 for white tees, it boasts a par 70 course, a putting green (located behind the restaurant), and a driving range (located on the east side of the property).
Although the course is a Town of Oyster Bay property, it is open to the public for additional fees. For registering resident members or daily green fees for residents, you must show a DMV photo ID or Passport and car registration, tax bill or utility invoice.

Applications are processed on Wednesdays through Sundays from 9am until 3pm. The golf course is open for approximately eight months so you can play from now until Thanksgiving (weather permitting). The driving range is open longer.
