Patch Picks: Places for Easter Brunch

After Church and hunting for eggs that the Easter Bunny left, you’re going to be famished! Why not go to a nice place to have lunch with your family and celebrate the holiday? Here are some suggestions.

 1. Broadway Diner - 287 N. Broadway, Hicksville

The Broadway Diner has a special luncheon for $11.95 which is a pretty great price for a larger family. The menu offers a variety of food including a Reuben Sandwich, Shrimp or Egg Salad Sandwich, and Homemade Spinach pie or Baked Moussaka. They have choices of salads like a Chef’s Salad, a Caesar Salad or a Sliced Turkey Bowl. They even have specific meals for dieters so that they can have a nice meal, too. The special luncheon comes with a coup of soup, an entrée and a cup of coffee, tea or soda.

 2. - 312 Jericho Turnpike, Syosset

This Diner has a bit of everything for everybody. They have breakfast foods like bagels, muffins, pancakes, and eggs. They also have burgers, sandwiches and Mexican food. There are salads and wraps as well as seafood and steaks. This is the most eclectic diner and is great for picky eaters because even the pickiest of eaters will find something they like on the menu at The Celebrity Diner

 3.  Executive Inn at Woodbury - 8030 Jericho Turnpike, Woodbury

This is a little more upscale than any other diner. It is connected to a hotel so if you have relatives visiting then this would be a great place to tell them to stay for the holiday. Like any other hotel, The Executive Inn at Woodbury has a complimentary breakfast which includes an omelets bar Monday - Friday. There is a deluxe continental breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays. 

 4.  7725 Jericho Turnpike, Woodbury

There is a specific Easter buffet on Easter food like a Gold Coast table with a variety of cheeses and vegetables. There is also homemade soup bar, sushi bar and pasta a la carte. There is a chuck wagon with food for kids there. The best part of this buffet is that you get to have lunch with the Easter Bunny and get a picture with him!

 5. The Harvest Diner - 841 Old Country Road, Westbury

If you want a low key diner, then this is the place for you. This is the perfect diner to just sit and relax with the family after church or Easter egg hunting.  There are sandwiches and burgers for lunch as well as a dieter’s section for the healthier foods they offer. The Harvest Diner also has melts to eat such as a tuna melt and a veggie pita. They have Greek food for the lovers of that and quesadilla’s as well.
