Patch Picks: Summer Fun
Tie those shoes and pull up your socks, because summer is here, and itt's time to have some fun.
School is going to be over in about three weeks and that means summer vacation is on its way. But summer won’t be summer without a few new toys! Here are some places to get toys and summer fun stuff:
The first place to go to to get toys is Toys R Us Express. They have great toys for the summer like shovels shaped like alligators ($4.98), fake gardening kits and rubber snakes ($4.99) to put in the yard to trick people. They even have kid size flash lights ($7.99) for those kids who love to camp out in the back yard.

Not only does Shop Rite have food, but they have great stuff for summer too. From Towels to coolers to pails with shovels attached to them ($6.99). It has a little baby swimming pool and a pool float shaped like a penguin. Want a beach sculpting kit with shapes? ($14.99) Go to Shop Rite!

3. Target
Target has swimming gear. You can get life vests and floating suits for the kids as well as goggles ($9.99), swim shoes and even bathing suits. There are dive sticks for those who like the challenge of going under water and they have water guns for those who like to get wet but don’t like going swimming. Don’t forget the absorbent balls ($2.69) because everyone likes to get hit with a soaking wet flying object!

Get your sun screen and umbrellas! CVS has everything you need for staying safe in the sun. They also have insect repellent and aloe for those who burn easily. Don’t forget bubbles ($9.99). Everyone loves blowing bubbles on a hot summer say and watching them float away.

5. Walgreens
Playing with soccer balls and chalk (8.99) is a great way to spend a summer day outside! Don’t forget RC cars too. Racing using RC cars (20.99) is better than racing using your own body in the sweltering heat!
