Reservations are required so please call: 516-922-3200 or email: trsac@audubon.org

Vines & Canines

Events for pets come few and far between but starting at 11am Saturday morning, Martha Clara Vineyards is offering up this event where you can walk your leashed dog through the vineyard with one of the winemakers.  A donation of a non-perishable dog food item is requested - it will be going to the local shelter foundations.  Also, from 2pm to 5pm stick around for the live music from Second Chance. Going out east will certainly be worth the trip,  especially for this free happening.

Address:  6025 Sound Avenue, Riverhead.

Witch Pasta?

Recommended for children ages three through nine, the Tilles Center will be featuring a musical called Strega Nona about a friendly witch who tries to cure her Italian town of its ills.  Then when a big lug selfishly tries to steal her powers, he can’t turn off her magic pasta pot and the whole town may end up engulfed in noodles.  Based on the children's book by Tomie DePaola, come by to find out what happens and enjoy the songs and scenery, too.  Starts Saturday 2pm at the Concert Hall.  See website for tickets and prices.

720 Northern Boulevard, Greenvale
