Photos: Car Show at Exotic Classics

Check out the 3rd Annual Car Show at Exotic Classics on Gordon Drive this past Sunday.

Sunday's on Gordon Ave was a real blast from the past as well as a look at the latest technological marvels.

I am an auto enthusiast with a customized 1962 Austin Healey 302 Boss V8 Cobra, two 1990 BMW E30 3251 convertibles, and the latest, a new Red Hot Toyota Prius (best +20 mile trip, 61.2 mpg).

Tony Rittella had a gorgeous pink 1941 Willys on display, while Bob Glanzman was delighted to show off his 1989 Captain America inspired Corvette and the art on the car saluting our fallen heroes.

Seeing so many cars from the 50's, 60's, 70' and 80's was as if my entire life passed before me through a myriad of antique autos, hot rods, chrome classics and the latest supercars, like the vintage British racing green Morgan + 8 roadster that just arrived.

All types of cars were on hand from race cars to road cars, European exotics, American muscle cars and hot rods which filled the back lot at Exotic Classics. We spotted technological marvels like the Lamborghini inspired Audi R10, the Mercedes Gull wing, Ferrari's and Maserati's or the Ford GT40.

These classics represent the state of the art in technology as well as a reflection of popular culture during the times they were produced, as significant as most any art form.
