3.  Syosset/Jericho PAL Kids Sports Classes

The Syosset/Jericho Police Activity League (PAL) Spring sports programs for kids runs from Monday, March 28 through Friday, May 27 (no classes scheduled April 18 through April 22). Register kids ages four through nine for multi-sport classes or kids ages six through nine for sport-specific programs focusing on basketball, flag football, soccer, floor hockey or baseball.  Classes focus on skill development and instructional game play and are held at Sportime Syosset Tennis & Multi-Sport, 75 Haskett Drive, Syosset.

For Syosset residents who have taken the leap to an e-reader, did you know that you can borrow e-books from the Syosset Library? If you use a Nook or Nook Color, Kobo, iPhone, Blackberry or a few others and have a PC or a Mac with Internet access and a Syosset Library Card, you can log onto the library’s website, select your title, download it and transfer it to your reader to read at anytime.  Patrons can download up to five titles at a time and at the end of the 14-day lending period, the e-books will expire and automatically be returned to the library’s digital collection.
