Sports, Fitness and Style the Sportime Way

Sportime Fitness & Racquetball held a fitness day Saturday with products and demonstrations that were both colorful and fun.

hosted a day of fitness, beauty and health last Saturday which by all accounts appeared to be a smashing success and fun time for those in attendance.

Jay Karl, General Manager and a Sportime Executive who overseas the Syosset location, said he thought the event was a success Saturday. 

"People who came out were really interested and not only looked but participated as well," Karl said. "They came excited and we hope they left perhaps a little bit more excited."

A member of the gym for two years now, Ally Ballanswag was jumping rope in a secluded spot of the gym over looking the racquetball court where she likes the privacy this particular spot has to offer.

"Its pretty easy to be motivated at Sportime when you see people who seem like they want to be here and you have a lot of space and it's not intimidating," Ballanswag said."

Deborah of Karen Loree Makeup Artistry & Skin Care was there displaying and demonstrating beauty products, as was Christiana Colandro of Mary Kay.

"Today was awesome as people were coming and going all day," Colandro said.

Winnie Water, Phil and Jim Stevralia of Max International were one of the many health and fitness product vendors displaying and demonstrating there products and services.
