Cops: Burglary Reports Drop

Nassau County Police reported three burglaries within the Second Precinct, none of which were in Syosset or Woodbury. This is a drop from the past several weeks where reports were two and three times higher.

Burke, a Syosset native, who served from 1970 to 1976 died on Feb. 21, according to Town Supervisor John Venditto, who led a moment of silence in memory of Burke, at last week's board meeting.
