Think About the Rink
All this week the Syosset-Woodbury Community Park will offer extended hours for outdoor skating.
If the blizzard of Christmas week won't leave you snowbound, check out the outdoor rink at the located on Jericho Turnpike across from the Fox Hollow Inn.
In between sessions take a load off in the lodge, warm your toes by the fire, and have a cup of hot cocoa. Besides bringing all your skating gear, you may want to have a sled handy to enjoy the grounds.
General admission prices range from $2 to $8, depending upon age and resident status. Skate rental is $3 per session. Each session is two hours long.

Please note: The rink is closed today, Monday Dec. 27 due to the snowstorm but should be open by Tuesday. The rink will also be closed on New Year's Day.
