WATCH: Silent Tributes to John Lee

Friends of John Lee somberly build memorial to fallen friend.

Teens, wearing Syosset varsity letter jackets and sweatshirts, went up one by one and lit candles, left gifts, and signed cards for their friend who was struck and killed by a train Monday night. As tears began to fall, fellow students held each others hands and gave each other lingering hugs as they tried to grasp the loss of their friend. The silence was broken only by low conversations, sniffles, and a passing train.
