Kids were busy "bubbleologists" Tuesday at the Syosset Public Library during an interactive program conducted by outreach educators Shay Jackson-Carroll and Emily Stern from the Long Island Children's Museum.
The children played with bubbles, made art with bubbles and learned the physics of bubbles. They learned how the light off the bubbles makes colors.
The children also received free tickets to the Long Island Children's Museum.

Sue Ann Reale, head of the Children's Services Department of the Syosset Public Library, says that the library has similar programs for children on a regular basis.
Judging bubble art may not be easy. But judging from all the bubbles on the floor, on noses and in the air Tuesday evening and the children's unanimous chorus of "me, me, me" when asked if they were having fun, said it all.

Take a look through the bubbles and you be the judge.
