Early rain did little to dampen spirits during the second and final day of the Syosset Chamber of Commerce Street Festival & Carnival.

It was a landmark year for the seventh-annual event, which for the first time added a second day to the street festival and for the first time added a carnival in the LIRR parking lot behind the Syosset Fire Department.
