Is comedy what it used to be? Noted show biz expert Jack Schnur offers food for thought when he presents an audio-visual program chronicling the 10-year partnership of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. This even takes place at the Syosset Public Library on Thursday from 2-3 p.m.
Thursday's program, "Dean Martin - Part 1: Memories Are Made of This," will include comments from Billy Crystal, Dick VanDyke, Martin's daughter, Deanna, among others.
Between 1946 and 1957, this duo was deemed the most successful comedy pair in the history of show business.
