Another Hurricane Coming to Syosset
Original opening date of Aug. 15 pushed back - Hurricane Grill & Wings will now open on Monday, Aug. 29.
A big hurricane is expected to hit Syosset soon - but not exactly like the one we're expected to get this Sunday.
Hurricane Grill & Wings, a South-Florida based restaurant known for its "uniquely savory chicken wings, with a choice of more than 30 signature sauces," will open its doors to the public at 275 Jericho Turnpike in Syosset on Monday, Aug. 29, with the official grand opening set for Friday, Sept. 9.
Syosset resident Bob Engel is leading the team which will bring the chain to Syosset - he is working with his partner and longtime friend Dean George of Wantagh to open this 150-seat restaurant, which will employ six full-time and approximately 30 part-time employees.
