Moira Patterson stressed fun along with finances Wednesday night, saying that when she retires she's going to play golf and shop for a whole lot more than milk.

The financial advisor for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney emceed the first annual Syosset Chamber of Commerce Business-to-Business Networking Expo Wednesday night at The Woodlands in Woodbury. Ray Ratigan from U.S. Trust Bank and Rob Fishman from Sandler Training talked about different strategies for getting referrals, but kept their presentations brief enough for everybody to get some practical application.

While many Chamber events are for members, Wednesday's Expo was open for everyone, largely as a recruiting opportunity. Prospective members got to see how active Syosset Chamber members are, something President Danielle Delgrosso said is a major selling point.
