It looks like for the first time ever we can't find gas for under $4 a gallon in Syosset. Technically, the cheapest gas we've found is $3.99, but that's not exactly something to get excited about.
We know that times are tough and gas being as expensive as it is doesn't exactly help the wallet, but we hope that this post will save you a few bucks, anyway.
The prices below are taken from Motor Trend's website, which bases its information on credit card transactions. Some stations offer cheaper prices for cash-only purchases, and prices are subject to change.

The Station on Jericho Turnpike has the cheapest gas in all three categories this week:
- They offer the cheapest regular grade at $3.999 a gallon, the cheapest plus at $4.059 and the cheapest premium at $4.159.
- The cheapest diesel is offered at the station, for $4.419 a gallon.
- In Plainview, the cheapest regular gas was also found at a Hess station on Old Country Road, for $3.999 a gallon.
- The cheapest gas we found in the region was in Jericho at the Citgo (151 Jericho Turnpike), with regular coming in at $3.959 a gallon.
