The newly constructed 2,500-square-foot extension to the strip of stores has been completed and indoor lighting fixtures have been hung. The location, owned by Bellmore's MGD Investments, is part of a strip that also includes Gabby's Gourmet Bagelatessen, Shake Cups, Sherwin Williams Paints, and Sprint.

“This site will be a premier center with retail and three food restaurants with amazing synergy,” said MGD's Larry Weinberger, according to libn.com.

Chipotle has more than 1,400 locations worldwide. Competition from other restaurants like Taco Bell have fueled the company's aim to offer more, so they will be providing catering options to customers soon, according to Bloomberg. Stocks fell five percent Wednesday in its biggest decline since Oct. 19, but the company continues expanding to the West Coast and opened an Asian-themed restaurant in Washington in 2011, reported Bloomberg.

The Syosset Chipotle currently lists open positions for crew members who prepare ingredients and restaurant team members who assemble meals and complete transactions. Apply for a job at the Syosset Chipotle here.
