Friday Crash On OCR Has People Upset

All weekend, people commented about the crash in front of Morton Village and debated the solution.

Friday's two-car crash in front of the was a topic of intense discussion around town this weekend.

Many Patch readers commented that the crash that left three people hurt was indicative of a larger problem. Some said it was careless drivers; others said the exit in front of the ShopRite supermarket (at the Chase Bank) is simply too dangerous.

What should be done: A traffic light? A traffic study? Close off the exit entirely and force drivers out the Rex Place side of Morton Village?

Weigh in and let us know your ideas in the comments. Let's look toward a solution, and perhaps we can offer that to public officials.

My name is Lloyd Moskowitz, Once again, I hope noone was injured during this accident My son Jordan and I were never involved or a part of this accident in any way why JohnM (now removed as a user) and now Joel(new user) or anyone would say we were involved in this is beyond me its very sad, when a person can make false statements about a minor (17 year old) behind a fake user id and think he/she can get away it. I feel very sorry for that LONELY, SAD andUNFULFILLED person sho tries to hurt a child with hurtful statements, I respectively request that stop your personal attack on my son and I These are the truths and I will sign my name everytime to my post

I wish your solution were as good as you think it is, Recently my friend's car was slammed into by a driver, on the west side by the Blue Angel with such force that it was spun around and pushed into anothe car. The driver then hit another car as well. That area has a problem where the lanes converge as well. I am finding more driver's just not paying attention to what is around them, running red lights, sliding through stop signs and simply ignoring rules of the road. So, now what?
