  • Reports to Marketing Manager and is receptive to feedback and coaching. Provides written, updates tracking and reporting status on existing and new project status to team leader.
  • Must utilize graphic design skills to create and manipulate design elements and entire layouts using cross platform tools on both Mac/Windows, prepare marketing pieces for both print and digital
  • Organize files, manage pre-flight process through to final production (pdf, html, etc.).
  • When applicable, transmit files to vendors and monitor progress to proof and delivery of final printed piece
  • Should be able to contribute best practices on design and appearance of web advertisements, improve user experience of individual web pages or microsites.
  • Should be able to take legacy print pieces and effectively re-design for use on web
  • Work closely with Marketing Manager and other team members to design effective collaterals
  • Other duties, as assigned

  • Independent worker, great work ethic, take charge person, grab the ball, need minimum guidance, decision makers, great problem solving skills
  • Project management and Product management skills – ability to drive projects, understand Pm TOOLS and a pmo, ability to learn product(s) details/features/operation quickly, cross functional team management - Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple priorities which change often
  • Great communication skills – articulate, well spoken, well written, listen effectively, ability to develop presentations and to present them inside and to customers, can break barriers, can convince others, effectively communicate ideas and concepts with peers, management and customers of course
  • Organization skills –keeps track of tasks, works on them automatically, can foresee the future, thinks ahead, can mitigates problems down the road,
  • Ability to write marketing specifications – to drive requirements from customer-interactions, understanding of the development process and the negotiating skills to compromise wisely
  • Financial skills – can write a business plan, understand revenue, margins, vs. NRE costs, Bom costs, marketing costs – can articulate why a project makes sense to the company financially, ability to report up- keep management well-informed

Marketing Manager, Bramson Ort College, Forest Hills

Duties:

  • Works with community leaders to help generate student enrollment in Bramson ORT College.
  • Works with the Executive Director and Admissions team to develop a comprehensive marketing plan for the college including developing themes, identifying target audiences and media selection.
  • Supervises and leads assigned staff including the Admissions team and the Multimedia department by setting goals, assigning tasks, managing work schedules and workloads, evaluating performance and making employment recommendations.
  • Works collaboratively with clients to ensure their projects align with the overall marketing goals of the college.
  • Oversees the planning, development and implementation of all marketing activities
  • Strategizes on brand marketing and initiatives to promote the college.
  • Directs the creative process for marketing; seizes opportunities to extend the brand integration process beyond traditional materials into everyday college life and experience for the students.
  • Assists clients in defining needs and coordinates the use of market research tools; facilitates interpretation of research data.
  • Advocates the value of marketing to clients.
  • Develops and manages the assessment process for measuring audience impacts and media habits.
  • Manages the media placement strategy for the college. Works with Multimedia staff to coordinate and maximize media placements for the College among individual campaigns, as well as enrollment and brand campaigns.
  • Assesses technology and media needs.
  • Creates an environment in marketing where high quality creative work is valued and celebrated.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Center Consultant, FedEx – Astoria

Duties:

  • Take orders, coordinating activities in the Center, providing pricing and product information, and recommending appropriate FedEx Office products and services. 
  • Operate and maintain a wide variety of equipment, move boxes and equipment, stock materials.
  • Manage the production queue and output, complex projects, and retail supply. Complete assigned tasks based on priority.
