With the loss of anchor store Nieman Marcus for the proposed Mall at Oyster Bay, Taubmann Properties got a deadline extension to submit evidence that the project is "regionally significant," according to Newsday.
The stalling of the next step in developing the property, plans for the former , and yields potential for a plethora of replacements. The issue has gone beyond the odd empty store front.
