Readers' Choice: Vote for the Best Preschool

Let us know the best preschool in Syosset and Plainview so we can put it to a vote and identify the Readers’ Choice 2012 winner.

Parents are very particular when it comes to picking a preschool for their children. How did you select the right place for your child in Plainview and Syosset?

Was class size or staff qualifications a factor? Cost or location?

Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else who knows the about our area to nominate the best spots.

The nomination period ran through July 9.

Now it’s time to vote. Cast your vote by Aug. 17 and help us decide who's best. Whichever business gets the most votes will be named our Readers' Choice winner.

Thanks in advance for your participation!

We are so lucky to live in an area with incredible options but based on recommendations from the faculty at our local elementary school we opted for the Plainview JCC. Our daughter LOVES learning, LOVES school and is still best friends with the children from the JCC. We can't say enough good things about our experience.

We looked at 3 different preschools in Plainview, but the moment we stepped into Hickory Hill, we knew it was the one. It was so warm and inviting and the children all seemed so happy, and didn't have that "sense of entitlement" that some of the other preschools seemed to install. My daughter got an excellent education, all while making friends and having fun. It seemed to give just the right balance between learning and play. The summer camp is our favorite as well.
