Synergy to Host Men's Pro/Am Racquetball Competition
Racquetball's best this Thursday through Sunday at the 16th Annual Cactus Salon NYC Pro/Am Men's Racquetball Tournament.
Synergy Fitness in Syosset will host some of the biggest names in racquetball this Thursday through Sunday at the 16th Annual Cactus Salon NYC Pro/Am Men's Racquetball Tournament.
The Cactus annual is the longest running tier-one event in the country, according to the International Racquetball Tour.
"Expect to see some incredible competition from aces like Kane Waselenchuk and Rocky Carson along with some unexpected competition from young guns like #4 Jose Rojas and local favorite, Nick Montalbano," Nick Rynerson wrote on the IRT website.
According to the Syosset-Jericho Tribune, about 300 athletes from around the world will compete for around $20,000 in prize money. Entry is limited to ticket-holders and spectator seating for professional matches is limited.

Synergy (formerly Sportime), is a 40,000 square foot facility with 13 racquetball courts. They are located at 10 Gordon Drive, Syosset.
