The Great Escape: Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

Here's our weekly hourly getaway for moms and dads who may need some time for themselves.  Today's sacred place is Hand & Stone and don't let the name fool you, it's not a masonry business. Instead it's a spa located in Jericho near Whole Foods. 

Naturally their signature massage would be the Hot Stone Massage, but they also offer couple's, foot, and face massages. In addition to these treatments they have interesting facials on the menu such an organic tea facial as well as some other therapies that treat specific areas such as eye, lip, and hand.  

If you haven't tried a soothing river stone massage make sure to make an appointment and take advantage of their introductory offers for first-time visitors. There are also annual membership programs for monthly visits under their Lifestyle Program.

If you are traveling out of state you may find that a Hand & Stone is near your hotel and if you have a membership it will be good at any of their locations to redeem your monthly massage. They are located in 12 states and Canada, too.
