Long Island Industrial Completes First Renovation Project for Consumers Kitchens & Baths Headquarters in Holbrook, NY

Upgrade Part of $35-Million Capital Improvement Program

 

SYOSSET, N.Y. (June 23, 2014) – Long Island Industrial, an owner and operator of properties across Long Island, N.Y., today announced that it has completed its first renovation project for Consumers Kitchens & Baths in Holbrook, NY, an upgrade that is part of the company’s  $35-million capital improvement program aimed at modernizing its portfolio of properties throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties.

The renovation, completed by Long Island-based Hunt Construction Services, Inc., included the demolition of the outdated exterior and installation of a new energy efficient Exterior Insulation Finish System (E.I.F.S.) façade. New electrical circuits for the exterior were also installed, along with crown molding and window accents.

“This latest project is a testament to our commitment to our tenants and a critical milestone for our modernization efforts,” said Tommy Tsiolis, Director of Leasing for Long Island Industrial. “We’re pleased to announce the completion of this project and look forward to upcoming improvements to our properties.”

 

As part of its capital improvements program, Long Island Industrial will invest an average of $7 million per year over a projected five-year period into its Long Island portfolio, including 23 buildings in Suffolk County, totaling approximately 2 million square feet, and 13 buildings in Nassau County, totaling approximately 1.5 million square feet.
