Earlier this month officers were elected to Bethpage Federal Credit Union's Board of Directors, with Don Balducci named Chairman of the Board. Balducci succeeds Robert Kelly, who served as Chair from 2011-2014.

An experienced performance consultant, Don Balducci is Senior Advisor for Talent Development at CA Technologies (formerly Computer Associates), where he is responsible for the development and delivery of management and leadership programs, as well as performance acceleration projects.  He earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics and education from Hofstra University, joining CA Technologies in 1981, where he worked in programming, marketing, and data center operations before taking on supervisory and management roles.

Balducci will work closely with the Bethpage Board of Directors, comprised of key industry leaders and business professionals, to ensure that Bethpage maintains its position as the largest credit union in New York State and the leading financial institution on Long Island.

Bethpage has grown tremendously in recent years to become the leading financial institution in the Long Island community,” said Balducci.  “Unlike banks, our Board of Directors is comprised of volunteers, dedicated to the credit union mission to serve its members.  I am proud to continue in this tradition and to uphold the Bethpage commitment to family and community.”

“Bethpage is fortunate to have an exceptional Board of Directors in place comprised of some of the best industry leaders in the area.  Don has been an integral member of our Board since 2003 and we are very fortunate to have him now as our Chair,” said Kirk Kordeleski, President & CEO, Bethpage.  “At Bethpage, we have a firm commitment to our members.  Don is a recognized leader, known for his valued counsel and advancements in the community.  We look forward to continuing a strong working relationship.”
