Syosset's William Rousseas Joins Homes By Mara Realty of Syosset

SYOSSET, NY – William Rousseas of Syosset, who is popularly known as “Vasil” among peers, is the newest licensed salesperson to join Syosset’s Homes By Mara Realty. Rousseas, who previously worked for more than 30 years within the food service industry, says he was inspired to change career paths and join Homes By Mara after experiencing firsthand the agency’s top notch service and professionalism.

“When my wife and I decided to put our Syosset home up for sale a few months ago, we met with several agencies yet the one agency that stood out the most and offered the most comprehensive marketing plan for selling our home at its maximum worth was Homes By Mara Realty,” explains Rousseas. “After witnessing the stellar job Homes By Mara delivers in representing and serving its clientele, I realized I wanted to deliver similar positive experiences to other home sellers and buyers, which led to my joining Homes By Mara.”

Prior to coming to Homes By Mara, Rousseas was owner of Old Westbury Diner in Old Westbury. His previous experience also includes serving as owner and operator of Marine Fisheries in Great Neck, of which earned him designation as the Village of Great Neck’s 2002 Businessman Of The Year, and assistant regional manager of  Au Bon Pain franchise overseeing the regions of Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

Rousseas, who holds a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Business Management from Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus, says his success in real estate stems from his tenure working within the food service arena. “Throughout my time as a business owner specializing in the food service sector, customer attention, service and satisfaction has always been first and foremost,” comments Rousseas. “Since devoting my attention to real estate, I have been able to capitalize on my sensitivity to customer attention and exceptional service to adhere to the needs of real estate clients so I can help them achieve their goals.  Regardless of what service industry you are in, the underlying objective remains the same. Understanding and serving the client’s needs is always priority number one no matter what area of service you are in.”

Homes By Mara President and Owner Mara Navaretta says she is delighted to have Rousseas aboard her team. “‘Vasil’ is a great asset to the Homes By Mara operation and its clientele,” says Navaretta. “Not only does his background as a business owner afford him a genuine understanding regarding the nature of conducting business, but he also has a great ability in realizing and accommodating a client’s needs for maximum customer satisfaction.”
