A rundown of events and reminders for today in Syosset and Woodbury.

1. This week's Readers' Choice is all about mom. Nominate the today.

2. Cheer the Braves today:

  • 4 p.m. Baseball vs. Farmingdale AWAY
  • 4:30 p.m. Boys Tennis vs. Great Neck North @ HOME
  • 4:30 p.m. Girls Lacrosse vs. Port Washington AWAY
  • 4:30 p.m. Girls Track vs. East Meadow AWAY

3. School reminders:

  • Elementary schools will have a half day and will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m.
  • Elementary parent-teacher conferences will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • and hold their spring concerts tonight for seventh graders at 7:30 p.m. at their respective schools.
  • Classes will dismiss at 2 p.m. today due to a faculty meeting. No after school activities will be held.
