  1. The Syosset Baseball team heads to Port Washington for a 4:45 p.m. game. It may rain today, so check back with us to see if this one is still on.
  2. - This one's for the animals. All proceeds of this event go to funds to support the shelters and rescue groups on Long Island that save abused, neglected, displaced and abandoned animals. Tickets are $100 and can be purchased on the website www.petpeeves.org, or you can call 516.692.8000 for more information.
  3. Have some free time and want to see some art? Head to the Nassau County Museum of Art to check out the exhibit "These vibrant posters, depicting the new collective means of production in mines, fields and factories, were designed and executed by some of the foremost Russian artists of the time..."
