Dec. 1: Weekend Plans and World AIDS Day

Here is a rundown of everything you need to know today in Syosset.

1. Today is World Aids Day. Wear something red to support awareness of and education about HIV and AIDS.

2. The first Toys for Tots event of the month in the area is today at the Cold Spring Harbor Hatchery. Bring any donations between 10 a.m and 5 p.m.
