Dec. 17: Boys and Girls Basketball Games

Happy Friday to you, and welcome to "5 Things You Need to Know Today." Each weekday we'll be putting a little extra spotlight on some of the things that are going on in the Syosset area. While we do our best to keep up with what's going on, we can always use your help. If you don't see something that should be on the list, don't be afraid to let us know!

1. The Syosset Baseball Booster Club hosts its' today from 6 - 9 p.m. in thel gym lobby. "Please bring your Wrapped toys marked boy or girl.  Also, please include batteries if needed.  Any questions, please email Debbie Taurisani at baseballboosterclub@gmail.com . All Toys donated to the 'Birthday Wishes of Long Island Foundation."  WINTER CAMP PLAYERS: PLEASE pick up your UNIFORMS that night as well."
2. Head to the at 2 p.m. for a . If you miss the 2 p.m. you can always head back for the second one at 7 p.m. All movies are open seating-first come, first served and children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
