Dec. 8: Realty Grand Opening Party and Library Programs

Happy Wednesday to you, and welcome to "5 Thing You Need to Know Today." Each weekday we'll be putting a little extra spotlight on some of the things that are going on in the Syosset area. While we do our best to keep up with what's going on, we can always use your help. If you don't see something that should be on the list, don't be afraid to let us know!

1.  at the Syosset Public Library starts at 11 a.m. The program is aimed towards older adults -  a St. Francis hospital and nurse educator hosting the event will be speaking on how to prevent falls.

2. with William Feeley is also at the library today starting at 7 p.m. 

3. Homes By Mara Realty hosts their tonight from 4 - 8 p.m. so come join them at 567 Jericho Turnpike Suite 205! 

4. The continues at the Astoria Federal Saving Bank on Jackson Ave. Join Rabbi Jay Weinstein and friends of Congregation Simchat HaLev each night of Chanukah at 4 pm!

5. The exhibition, continues its' run at the Museum of Art in Roslyn. The exhibit is on view until Jan. 9, 2011, so hurry up and go check it out if you haven't already!
