Nov. 19: Elementary School Play and Film Screening

Happy Friday to you, and welcome to "5 Things You Need to Know Today." Each weekday we'll be putting a little extra spotlight on some of the things that are going on in the Syosset area. While we do our best to keep up with what's going on, we can always use your help. If you don't see something that should be on the list, don't be afraid to let us know!

1.  and School is collecting cans of food for their food drive this Thanksgiving.  The runs until this Saturday. Donate anything from canned good such as peas and carrots and green beans to coffee and boxes of cereal. More information can be found on their website. 

2. Tomorrow is also the last day that Syosset High School is accepting donations. Drop off any non-perishable food and other essentials in the marked bins outside the student lobby at 

3. South Woods Elementary performs the play at Syosset High School at 7:30 p.m.

4. The film screening, " runs today at the Syosset Public Library at 2 p.m. 

5.  is being held at the library at 4 p.m. Please call the library to check for availability for all programs.
