Feb. 19: Animal Rescue Fundraiser and Best Pictures Showcase

Here are just a few things going on today:

1. - All sales benefit the Last Hope and enables them to continue their rescue and rehab efforts for stray animals. Donations of items in good condition are gratefully accepted – please contact either Maureen at toestetra@hotmail.com or Connie at cpryor7@optonline.net. This event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at in Syosset.  All proceeds from the event benefit Last Hope's foster pets and community outreach efforts. 2. at the - Runs from 9:30 to 4 p.m. Call the library at 516-921-7161 for more info. 
3. at the library from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
4. - miss any of the films nominated for Academy Awards? No problem! Head to the AMC Loews Raceway in Westbury for an all-day movie going experience. See all 10 films the next two Saturday's for a price of $60, or view five movies today for just $35.00. Check the event for movie listings.
