A rundown of events and reminders for Wednesday in Syosset and Woodbury.

1. Winds and rain are expected early Wednesday with sunshine partially breaking through the clouds in the afternoon. Temperatures will peak at about 47 degrees.

3. School events:

  • The Syosset PTA Council holds their general meeting at Syosset High School
  • Walt Whitman Elementary continues Circus Week
  • Our Lady of Mercy Academy holds a 7:35 a.m. mass

4. Events at Syosset Library:

  • 10 a.m. Baby Jump for Joy
  • 10:45 a.m. English Conversation Group
  • 11 a.m. Jump for Joy
  • 2:30 p.m. Simply Fit
  • 4 p.m. Dr. Seuss' Birthday Craft

Be sure to call the library ahead as some events have limited capacities.
