Hazardous Conditions and Outages Expected in Nassau

National Weather Service predicts hazardous weather and power outages Tuesday night.

 

The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement that loops Syosset into a severe weather advisory.

Strong thunderstorms are expected in Nassau County through 10 p.m. Winds will gust to almost 50 mph and likely causing power outages. Rain will lighten after 10 p.m and will continue through 2 a.m.
