3. Congregation Simchat HaLev holds Tu B'Shevat family services Friday at 7 p.m.

4. School events:
- Our Lady of Mercy Academy students head to their Father-Daughter Dance at 8 p.m. at Crest Hollow Country Club.
- Syosset High School ACT performs their Winter Showcase at 7 p.m.
- South Grove Elementary PTA hosts Bingo Night.
5. Warm up with a love poem at 2 p.m. at Syosset Library during the Love Poems for the Winter program. Call the library ahead as the event requires registration.
