LI Restaurant Week a Success

The fifth annual event, held from November 7 to November 14, reportedly brought in more than $7 million in revenue for participating restaurants.

227 restaurants. $7 million-plus in revenue. 181,000 total meals served. All this for a three-course meal that costs only $24.95.

Long Island Restaurant Week, an eight-day long promotion which included 227 participating restaurants including eight restaurants in the Syosset-Woodbury area, was a tremendous success.  The promotion reportedly brought in more than $7 million in revenue for participating restaurants and even prompted several restaurants to extend their $24.95 promotion.

"The campaign has become a great way for restaurants to attract new customers just before the holiday season.  It offers Long Islanders an affordable treat, giving them an opportunity to feast on some of the best dishes from area restaurants," said Steve Haweeli, President of WordHampton Public Relations.
